Hyggelige Hus means "snugly and unhurried house" ...

... and thus your vacation should also be with us!  

We offer you a comfortable, informal atmosphere in which you can enjoy your well-earned holidays!

In our historical house from 1823 you live in one of our four light-coloured and renovated double rooms with shower and WC. A third bed can be provided if requested. After an extensive, Danish-German breakfast you enjoy the stay on our wonderful island (feel free to prepare yourelves  a lunch-pack for your expedition). In the evening a warm, tasty plain fare expects you. You can let the day end with reading (big choice in German books available, but we also offer a few in english and danish), watch television in our day room, with a beer in the angler's room or on the sunny terrace in our big garden .

The Hyggelige Hus is a non-smoking guest house.

But you don't have to abstain from your pipe or a good cigar etc.

Meet your fishing mates in our "Angler's Room" telling the fish stories and having a smoke and taking a sip. 

Comfortable journey:

Via Germany (by train or car) - only 45 minutes from Puttgarden/Germany till Rødbyhavn (goes all 30 minutes, reservation only in the main season recommended).
